Oil Barrel Organisation Price forecast at $110 per Barrel. Be prepared!

Image
The Oil Barrel Organisation has predicted an increase to $110.00 per barrel of oil for the year entering 2012. Results from consumption figures from China and India along with USA indicate strong factors for the oil demands to increase considerably with a limited supply. Africa will find newer sources to self supply in another 5 to 7 years but in the meanwhile, their imports are also notebly increasing with African polulation and economic activities in relvant sectors as remarked by Nazir Jinnah, ceo of Oil Barrel Organisation at the oil consumption forecasting for the emerging African markets symposuim in Doha, Qatar on January 20th 2011. The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) raised its global oil demand forecast to a growth of 1.23 million barrels per day (bpd) in 2011, for a total expected demand of 87.3 million bpd in 2011. That’s 50,000 barrels higher than it expected last month. Meanwhile, the International Energy Agency (IEA) is expecting even higher

2012 Mercedes Benz SLK - Must have or not?

Image
With the third generation of the SLK on its way, Mercedes-Benz reveals that the compact roadster line will continue the tradition of innovation. One good example is a feature called Magic Sky Control--that's what Mercedes-Benz is calling the new auto-tinting glass panels on the roof of the 2012 SLK. The roof automatically adjusts the tinting of the panels. This variable-tint glass panel, located at the center of the foldable hardtop, features embedded light-blocking crystals that allow for the tinting control. It allows owners to look up at the sky without having to roll down the roof, kind of like a pseudo-convertible experience on, err, a convertible. Users will also have the power to control the tinting at will, so the glass panel will be dark if you want it to and it'll be transparent if you want to see the skies above. Additionally, the glass panel itself is designed to provide better shielding from the sun's rays. In itself, it is more effective compared to standar

New Mercedes CL63 AMG

Image
Mercedes has officially revealed the new CL63 AMG – complete with an all-new 536bhp V8 engine. The twin-turbo 5.5-litre lump replaces the naturally-aspirated 518bhp 6.2-litre V8 found in the previous model, and is now mated to a new seven-speed multi-clutch transmission. Despite weighing two tonnes, the improved powertrain pushes the CL63 AMG to 62mph in 4.5secs and won't stop accelerating until it hits the limiter at 155mph. Apparently that kind of performance won't be sufficient for every Mercedes customer so there's also an optional AMG Performance package available for the car. This increases power to 563bhp and boosts the CL63's torque output from 589lb ft to 633lb ft. This makes the coupe marginally quicker to 62mph, but also means the car will be capable of 186mph. Mercedes insists the range topper is not all about power though – the new engine is 7mpg more economical than the previous model at 26mpg and CO2 emissions are down to 244g/km.

Can Europe benefit from Russian-Chinese Oil Pipeline delivery?

Image
Russia’s plan to reorient its energy trade towards the east has taken a leap forward with the start of oil exports through a new pipeline to China. The pipeline, running from Skovorodino in east Siberia to Daqing in north China, is an offshoot of a new oil export route Russia is building to the Pacific Ocean, providing the world’s top oil producer with a strategic window on the energy-hungry markets of Asia. When it is completed in 2013, the 4,070km pipeline can carry up to 1.6m barrels a day of oil, about one third of Russia’s current exports. Russia began commercial oil deliveries through the new pipeline to China on new year’s day consolidating increasingly close energy ties with the world’s fastest-growing oil consumer. China lent Russia $25bn in 2009 to help fund the project and pledged to import 300,000 barrels a day through the new pipeline for 20 years. Rosneft, Russia’s state oil company, has been supplying about 300,000 b/d of oil to China by rail, but the new pipeline w

New British Prime Minister's Broken Promises

Image
Hi PM. David, Confused, are you?                                                          How will British Prime Minister David Cameron ever come out of his now broken promises, which were sold with promises appearing to be exiting to the general public during election time? We have seen many election campaigners throw strong reform promises but they change them to the opposite values after being crowned! How can the British buy a misleading product? One can clearly step into the local business bureau to complaint if a seller has sold goods or services below standard or quality. But, how can anyone go back and claim that David Cameron had made good promises but has let everyone down by making all the cuts that were never disclosed? This is a repeat performance as we all had during the Iron Woman who drove the country to an economic slump! House prices falling, job cuts, educations costs raised, benefits cut for those who genuinely need. Lets discuss this and find a way to tos
